Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Mike Sabadash, operator of Rechord (“we”, “us”), processes personal data when you use Rechord.

1. Data we process

We may process your Patreon user ID, email, display name, avatar, membership relationship to the configured campaign, membership status and entitled amount; your Rechord profile; content and projects you create or publish; technical logs and security data; and records of legal consent.

2. Why we process it

We use data to create and secure your account, verify Premium entitlement, provide storage and community features, operate imports and exports, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, comply with law and maintain records of your choices. We do not use Patreon membership data to grant access to memberships in unrelated campaigns.

3. Legal bases

Depending on applicable law, processing is based on performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting Rechord, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent for optional processing without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Service providers

Data may be processed by Patreon for identity and membership, Supabase for authentication, database and server functions, and infrastructure providers used to host Rechord. Their own policies also apply. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

Account and project data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for recovery, security and legal needs. Consent and transaction-related records may be retained as required to demonstrate compliance. Technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary.

6. International processing

Providers may process data in other countries. Where required, appropriate transfer safeguards should apply through the relevant provider arrangements.

7. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may complain to your data-protection authority. Disconnecting or cancelling Patreon may affect sign-in or Premium access but does not automatically delete your Rechord account.

8. Security

We use access controls and server-side entitlement checks designed to protect data. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please report suspected issues promptly.

9. Children

Rechord is not intended for children below the minimum age required to consent to an online service in their country. A parent or guardian must provide authorization where applicable.

10. Changes and contact

Material changes will use a new version date and, where required, renewed acceptance. Privacy requests: privacy@rechord.online.
